Although Daiichi Hooks are made in Japan and normally a duty free item according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedules the North American distributor is located in the USA meaning along with a general price increase from the factory they now have the additional tariff’s placed on Japan along with the duty free classification now exempted.
Therefore we are facing some significant price increases on the products from the distributor and even with our policy of always pricing less than the MSRP you will find some unpleasant price changes. We regret those and have absorbed a large amount of these increased costs to try to soften the burden for you as much as we can trying to keep your tying costs as low as possible.
