Small pearl tinsel over brown thread with the tying thread wound over as a rib and then to back the bead halves
To lengthen the wider thorax/wing bud area a 3/32 inch tungsten bead using 1/2 Chironomid Brown & 1/2 Fluo. Orange
The breather at the hook eye is white UNI-Stretch
Everything behind the bead on the hook is twice coated with varnish to toughen it up.
Easy as pie to get a 3/32 bead onto the size 14 Daiichi 1270 one half at a time. That 1st curve at the back of the bite stops a normal bead of 3/32". Indeed it was easy to get the halves onto a #16 1270 too!
