Being a wooly bugger variation which was tied originally for US Midwest river smallmouth bass..... the main tweeks being the long fibred,webby saddle feather for the body
hackle and the dumbbell/hourglass eye weight to help keep the hook riding point upward.

Weighting:Hourglass w/ stick-on,and coated,eyes Also,a thin strip
of extra heavy golf club weighting tape along the hook shank ...
both on top of the shank.

Tail: Llama Streamer Hair blended with Magic Flash.
Purple and Black Llama Streamer Hair are cut,approximately evened
at the tip end (by pulling out and re-placing the few longer hairs),
and then spread out thinly on the inside of a cardboard box lid,purple
upon black.The llama hair is very easy to work with.Just take your time
and keep the cut ends closely in line as you spread the fibres out to the
side .
Magic Flash is then pulled from the bag and loosely spread out on top of
the llama hair,fibres roughly in the same direction.The tail is rolled up
from one side to the other until you have a constructed tail ready to tie
down onto the shank before the start of the hook bend.
Hackle:Wide and soft saddle hackle,black
Body:Brill UV ,12mm Purple .... wound up the shank
..... Comb out the tail after tying off
(...and a size 4 for the black dubbed llama
body with dark dun saddle.The tail is black llama streamer hair blended
with Cobalt Magic Flash.The body dubbing is made by cutting up the
waste tail butt end.Give the wound body a good brushing before and
after winding the hackle.)
