Underbody of pearl mylar tinsel
Overbody of tan vernille(Ultra Chenille),micro size...the wire rib fastening it down on top
of the underbody with a few wraps.
Wing buds are rounded wedges cut from the end of elastic plastic craft lacing
Thorax and legs are dubbed Lustre Plus Nylon in Brown colour, cut long,dubbed and
wound,then brushed to loosen some of the fibres. Gather and pull the fibres downward
and trim any that remain sticking upward to smooth the upper thorax.Add UV resin to the top
only,and cure to harden. Trim the "legs" to length.
Tint the back of the vernille abdomen with a tan colour permanent marker
