Although our Brass Beads, Cones and Hourglass Eyes made in China are a duty free item under the Harmonized Tariff Codes meaning our imports into Canada are saved that additional cost, the raw material prices have been steadily escalating.
Since September 2025 the price of Brass Rods which these products are produced from have gone up 66% so far and are anticipated to continue to rise.
We have absorbed a significant part of those new higher costs as our goal has always to bring these products to you at a lower price than many of our competitors. We will continue to do that but must inform you there will be some unpleasant surprises as you reorder some of your favorite items ☹
