Dental Floss Pupa
Daiichi 1260 size 16
Thread:Veevus 16/0 light grey
Abdomen:Waxed dental floss (ribbon type),
pulled between thumbnail and fingertip
to remove as much of the wax coating
as possible - doubled and twisted, and wound
over thread base
Wing buds:Clear Swiss Straw,thin strip
Thorax cover:Doubled piece of flattened
Swiss Straw,Cinnamon
Thorax:Waxed dental floss over tying thread
Breathers:Forward ends of the tied in wing buds
(I coated these lightly with Hard As Nails lacquer)
.... coat the fly up to the hook eye with Pro Tyer resin
